Maximilian Oster and Moritz Ansgar-Kühn, the two mangers of Restaurant emmax in Lanzarote introduce themselves:
Maximilian Oster
was born in 1965 and grew up in the Park Hotel Bad Ems as the son of the owner. After studying at the Jakob Selzer Hotel Management School in Bad Kreuznach, he worked at the Sheraton Hotel in Essen as well as in other restaurants/taverns. In 1988 Maximilian moved to Lanzarote and for 15 years managed the apartment complex Sanos in Puerto del Carmen.
In 2003 he first began to work as a cook in the Trattoria in Puerto Calero / Lanzarote, and later became a partner and managing director. There, he got to know his partner Moritz Ansgar Kühn, with whom he later opened the emmax.
Moritz Ansgar Kühn
The trained hotelier gained his professional experience both in restaurants and during large caterings with up to 2000 guests. In 2005 Moritz came to Lanzarote and there he quickly got to know his current friend and business partner Maximilian, for whom he first worked as a waiter in that very trattoria in Puerto Calero / Lanzarote.
While working together, it became clear to the two of them that they would be a perfect team for a restaurant operation of their own, and thus began the history of the emmax Restaurant...
